A marketing workspace often has several people, accounts and scheduled campaigns. Connection setup should therefore begin with identity: which workspace, which accounts and which permissions the assistant can use.

OAuth keeps the connection revocable and avoids sharing a reusable secret in chat.

## Before you start

- An active DunSocial workspace with the intended social accounts already connected.
- An MCP client that supports Streamable HTTP and OAuth, such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or Copilot Studio.
- A person who can review the final account, copy and time before publishing.

## Step by step

### 1. Choose a clear connector name

Open Settings → MCP and use `https://api.dunsocial.com/api/mcp`. Name the connector after the company or campaign workspace, not simply “DunSocial.”

### 2. Authorize the workspace

Complete OAuth in the browser and select the marketing workspace. Review access with the person responsible for publishing.

### 3. Verify shared context

Ask the assistant to name the workspace, connected accounts and personalization without changing them.

### 4. Check the calendar

List the next seven days before creating content. This makes gaps and collisions visible at the start of the conversation.

## Check before you finish

- The assistant names the correct DunSocial workspace and destination accounts.
- Every factual claim comes from the source material or saved workspace memory.
- The final action, timezone and returned post or draft IDs are visible.
