# How to preserve your personal writing voice with memory and MCP

A personal voice is more than adjectives such as “warm” or “bold.” It includes what you notice, how certain you sound, which clichés you avoid and when you let a question remain unresolved.

DunSocial personalization describes the writing posture. Memory stores durable topics, names, preferences and boundaries. Keep private source material out unless you genuinely want it influencing public drafts.

## What you will do

- Write a usable personalization description.
- Save a small set of personal-brand memories.
- Test the result with an unpublished draft.

## Before you start

- An active DunSocial workspace with the intended social accounts already connected.
- An MCP client that supports Streamable HTTP and OAuth, such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or Copilot Studio.
- A person who can review the final account, copy and time before publishing.

## Step by step

### 1. Collect your own evidence

Choose a few published pieces that still sound like you. Note sentence rhythm, level of certainty, humor, recurring subjects and phrases you refuse to use.

### 2. Propose personalization

Ask the assistant for a short description in plain language, then rewrite it yourself.

### 3. Save durable memories separately

Use memory for recurring project names, audience context, preferred terms and boundaries. One entry per fact keeps updates manageable.

### 4. Run a blind test draft

## Check before you finish

- The assistant names the correct DunSocial workspace and destination accounts.
- Every factual claim comes from the source material or saved workspace memory.
- The final action, timezone and returned post or draft IDs are visible.
- No private journal, unpublished guest material or third-party personal story was saved without clear intent.
