# How to turn a campaign brief into social drafts with MCP > Turn an approved campaign brief into distinct X, LinkedIn and Instagram drafts through MCP without losing dates, claims or review control. - Published: 2026-08-06 - Last updated: 2026-08-06 - Author: DunSocial - Topics: mcp, how-to --- A brief usually contains both firm facts and soft ambitions. Ask the assistant to separate them before it writes. “Make it exciting” is direction; the product name, date and approved promise are constraints. This workflow creates drafts only. Scheduling belongs after factual and brand review. Normalize the brief Ask for a compact table of audience, promise, evidence, required wording, dates, links and missing information. Resolve gaps with the campaign owner. > Read this brief and separate approved facts, creative direction, required wording, dates, links and unanswered questions. Do not draft posts. ### 2. Plan distinct messages Choose a role for each post: announcement, useful detail, proof, reminder or recap. Repetition should be intentional, not the result of copying one caption. ### 3. Create platform drafts Ask MCP to create drafts for the real connected accounts. Keep URLs and proper names unchanged. > Create an X draft, LinkedIn draft and Instagram caption from the approved plan. Adapt each to the platform. Save drafts only; do not schedule or publish. ### 4. Review in DunSocial Check previews, character limits, media needs and who is responsible for final approval. Return unclear drafts to the brief instead of endlessly prompting around missing facts. ## Check before you finish - The assistant names the correct DunSocial workspace and destination accounts. - Every factual claim comes from the source material or saved workspace memory. - The final action, timezone and returned post or draft IDs are visible. ## Where to go next After copy and assets are approved, use the CLI campaign scheduling guide or ask MCP to show the full schedule before it acts. --- ## About this document This is the Markdown representation of https://www.dunsocial.com/blog/turn-a-marketing-campaign-brief-into-social-drafts-with-mcp.
