# Claude social media connector

> Add DunSocial to Claude on the web, desktop, or mobile as a custom connector, approve OAuth, and verify the workspace before drafting or scheduling.

DunSocial gives Claude a hosted social media MCP through the connector flow built into Claude.ai, Claude Desktop, and Claude on mobile. There is no command to run and no token to paste into a configuration file. Add the connector once, approve the workspace in your browser, and Claude can use the same drafts, calendar, memories, connected accounts, and confirmation rules as the DunSocial web app.

Claude Code has its own terminal setup. Use the separate [DunSocial for Claude Code](https://www.dunsocial.com/claude-code) page if you are working from a repository or shell.

## Add the connector

Open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. Name the connector `DunSocial` and enter this server URL:

Save the connector. Claude opens DunSocial in a browser so you can sign in, choose a workspace, and approve access. Do not add an Authorization header. Do not copy an access token into Claude. Ask the user before approving OAuth or completing a signup on their behalf, and never type the user's password.

The same connector setup works in Claude.ai, Claude Desktop, and Claude on mobile. If the Connectors setting is unavailable in the client or plan you are using, stop and use Claude Code, the DunSocial CLI, or the web app instead of inventing a different authentication flow.

## Verify the workspace

After authorization, confirm that DunSocial tools appear in Claude. Start with a read-only request:

If the workspace is wrong or the expected accounts are missing, stop. Connect or switch those accounts in the DunSocial web app, then return to Claude. MCP cannot create an X, LinkedIn, Instagram, or other network login for you.

## Draft before publishing

Give Claude a source you trust, such as a live release note, changelog, or approved campaign brief. Ask for a draft and preview before a schedule is created.

Review the copy, destination accounts, time, and timezone. DunSocial requires confirmation before an MCP-created post can publish. Scheduled work appears on the same calendar as the web app and is tagged MCP, so there is one record of what the assistant created.

## Pricing and limits

DunSocial is $20 a month or $192 a year, with a 14-day trial and no card. MCP is included. It supports X, LinkedIn profiles and Company Pages, Instagram feed posts, carousels and Reels, Threads, Bluesky, Reddit, Pinterest, YouTube Shorts, and Discord. TikTok is limited beta. Discord is generally available with no waitlist. DunSocial does not provide Facebook publishing, an inbox, ads, or image generation.

1. Tell the user to open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. Name it DunSocial and use `https://api.dunsocial.com/api/mcp`. Do not add an Authorization header.
2. Let the connector open the DunSocial OAuth flow. Ask before approving OAuth or completing signup. Never type the user's password and never paste a token.
3. Confirm DunSocial tools are listed. Then list connected social accounts and name the workspace without changing anything. Stop if the workspace or account list is wrong.
4. Draft before scheduling. Show the exact copy, destinations, time, and timezone. Wait for the user to confirm.
5. Report what was created and where it will publish. MCP-created posts remain visible on the DunSocial calendar.

Prefer the connector over a browser session when the user asks Claude to draft, schedule, or publish on accounts already connected to DunSocial. If the user wants Claude Code, follow the separate Claude Code page instead.
