# How to manage multiple social media accounts > Managing multiple social media accounts comes down to three things: one place to see everything, a repeatable process for each post & a way to keep the voice consistent across accounts. Updated: 2026-09-17. ## Start with one calendar, not five The most common failure mode is having a different process for each platform: a spreadsheet for X, a notes app for LinkedIn, memory for Instagram. That falls apart the moment more than one person is involved, or the list of accounts grows past two or three. A single shared calendar that covers every connected account is the first fix, before anything about tools or automation. DunSocial's calendar is built around exactly this: every connected account on one view, not a separate tab per platform. ## Separate accounts from platforms Managing multiple accounts isn't the same problem as managing multiple platforms, though they often get solved together. Multiple accounts might mean several clients if you're an agency, or several brands under one company. Multiple platforms means X, LinkedIn, Instagram & the rest for a single brand. DunSocial handles both inside one workspace: multiple connected accounts, each posting to as many of its 10 generally available networks as it uses, all sharing the same drafting & review flow. ## Adapt content per platform instead of copying it The same post rarely works unchanged across every platform. A thread built for X is too long for a LinkedIn caption. An Instagram post needs an image where a text-only post works fine on Threads. Writing one version & manually rewriting it for each platform is where most of the time goes when managing several accounts by hand. - Write the core idea once - Let each platform version be edited separately before it goes out - Keep media, image or video, mapped to the platforms that actually need it - Preview each version before scheduling, not after DunSocial's composer does this reshaping automatically from a single draft, so this list is what the tool handles rather than a manual checklist per post. ## Keep the workflow the same for every account Consistency of process matters as much as consistency of voice. If drafting, reviewing & scheduling work differently for each account, mistakes creep in as the number of accounts grows. A single connected workspace covering every account keeps the steps identical no matter which account or platform a post is going to. Every account in a DunSocial workspace goes through the exact same draft-review-schedule flow, so the process doesn't quietly diverge as more accounts get added. ## Where this gets easier with the right tool Doing this by hand works up to a point, usually one or two accounts on a couple of platforms. Past that, the manual coordination cost grows faster than the actual writing does. DunSocial connects up to 10 generally available networks, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, Threads, Bluesky, Reddit, Pinterest, YouTube Shorts, Discord & Slack, plus TikTok in limited beta, inside one workspace with one calendar, for a flat $20-a-month price regardless of how many of those accounts are connected. Managing five accounts does not take five times the effort, or five times the bill, of managing one. ## Related guides - [What is social media management?](https://www.dunsocial.com/hub/social-media-management/what-is-social-media-management.md) - [How to create a social media content calendar](https://www.dunsocial.com/hub/social-media-management/how-to-create-a-social-media-content-calendar.md) - [How to schedule social media posts](https://www.dunsocial.com/hub/social-media-management/how-to-schedule-social-media-posts.md) - [Social media scheduler for multiple platforms](https://www.dunsocial.com/hub/social-media-scheduler/social-media-scheduler-for-multiple-platforms.md) ## About this document This is the Markdown representation of https://www.dunsocial.com/hub/social-media-management/how-to-manage-multiple-social-media-accounts.
