Reconnect an account

Fix a social account that has stopped working.

Sometimes a social account disconnects, usually because the platform expired its access. Reconnecting fixes it.

When to reconnect

• An account shows as disconnected or needs attention.
• A post failed because DunSocial could not reach the account.

Steps

1. Open Settings → accounts, or go to Connect at /{workspace}/connect.
2. Find the account that needs attention.
3. Click Reconnect (or Connect).
4. Log in to that platform again and approve access.
5. The account goes back to connected.

Good to know

• DunSocial refreshes most accounts automatically in the background, so this does not happen often.
• Only owners and admins can connect or reconnect accounts.
• After reconnecting, your scheduled posts for that account can go out as normal.
